Welcome to the Pagan Life forums!

In order to participate in our community you will need to take the following simple action:

1) READ the agreement and Forum Rules. If you agree to our terms, you will need to register with us (a very simple process).

2) You will receive an email sent to the email address you specify on the registration form. This will contain a password, which you will be able to log in with.

3) Once logged in, you are asked to provide a short account of yourself in the New Members forum. There is a questionnaire provided that you may use if you find this more convenient.

4) Once this is done, your account will be manually activated, and you will be allowed access to the forums. However, please note that the Admin reserve the right to deny access if they have any doubts about the validity of the registration. Also, please allow 24 hours for the account to be activated (tho' usually it will be very much shorter than this)

5) We look forward to seeing you on the forums!

Pagan Life Site Rules

A: Posts

1. While we generally welcome all posts and debates, admins and moderators reserve the right to close (or lock) a topic if considered inappropriate or offensive. If you feel that a topic which you have started, or have responded to, has been unfairly closed, then please take it up with the member of the moderating/admin team concerned.

2. A topic/post may also be deleted if a member of the moderating/admin team considers it approprate. However, it will normally be locked first and other admins/moderators will be consulted before it is deleted. Only under extreme circumstances will a topic be deleted straight away.

B: Probation or Banning of Member

3. In exceptional circumstances a member may be placed on probation or banned through improper or inappropriate behaviour. The site rules governing this action are as follows:

a) There will normally be a 'three strikes and you're out' policy

b) The first 'strike' will come as a warning via PM

c) The second 'strike' will also come as a warning via PM, and may also be made public on the relevant boards

d) On the third 'strike', the member will be placed on probation, after which, provided an assurance of future good behaviour is received, the member will be able to post normally again. During the period of probabion the member will not be able to post, though will be allowed access to the forums. The length of the probation will depend on the severity of the improper behaviour and will be decided amongst the admin/moderating team.

e) If, despite this, there is no improvement in the member's behaviour, then the member will be banned from the forum.

f) However - if the improper behaviour is deliberate, very serious and potentially damaging or obscene, the Admin team reserve the right to ban the member straight away, and without any explanation to the member concerned.

C: Forum Etiquette

4. Please remember not to use the caps lock in your posts. The occasional capital letters can be used to distinguish some words, or if you're having a rant, but please remember that it is seen as 'shouting', and may lead to one of the moderating/admin team modifying your posts, or in an extreme case deleting it.

5. Also please remember that your posts are in the public domain. We do encourage you to say whatever you feel the need to say, but please keep in mind that some people may take offence at your post. Also remember that the law of libel still applies on the internet!

6. Please refrain from advertising on the forums. We are always keen to promote other sites, so by all means place an appropriate post on the Interesting Website's section or promote your own site, but please - no advertising. A Link via a signature to your own website will also be allowed in moderation. If in doubt, please PM an admin or moderator.

7. Please don't intentionally post a topic that will be considered as 'flaming' and also try not to react to these topics. If you have a problem with a post that you consider to be intentionally flaming then please contact a member of the moderating/admin team by PM to let us now.

8. And lastly, please do a search before posting a topic for help. It may have already been covered.

Thank you
